२६ असोज, काठमाडौं । आश्विन शुक्ल प्रतिपदाका दिनदेखि सुरु भएको यस वर्षको दुर्गा पक्ष अर्थात् दशैँ पर्व आजबाट सकिएको छ । आजलाई कोजाग्रत पू्र्णिमा आजैदेखि आकाशदीप दान पनि सुरु हुन्छ । आश्विन शुक्ल पूर्णिमादेखि कार्तिक शुक्ल पूर्णिमासम्म कार्तिक स्नान गरी विशेषरुपमा गरिने तुलसी पूजा पनि आजदेखि नै शुरु हुन्छ ।

Turkey may have deliberately targeted US forces with artillery in northern Syria in order to push them out, coalition sources have told the Daily Telegraph.

US officials confirmed an explosion occurred near where a small contingent of its special forces were based on a hill near the town of Kobane.

They said the cause of the explosion had not been confirmed but local reports suggested it was either an artillery or air strike. No US personnel were injured.

It was the first time a coalition base had come under fire since Turkey’s offensive began. US warplanes flew over the base immediately after the incident.

Turkey’s defence ministry denied targeting the US position, saying its forces were responding to Kurdish fire that originated nearby.

A spokesman said: “There was no firing on the US observation post. The firing was ceased as a result of the issue being relayed to us by the US.”

But a coalition source said there was nothing else around in the area that the Turks could have been targeting, apart form the US forces.

“It’s likely they are trying to push us out. Kobane is the heart and soul of the Kurds,” a source said. “If Turkey can get us to leave it’s all over.”

A US official in Washington said an explosion had occurrednear the US military outpost, but no personnel were hurt.

The availability of fraudulent ESA credentials online has enabled people who are not truly in need of animal assistance to abuse the rules and evade airline policies regarding animals in the cabin. With over a million passengers bringing ESAs on flights last year, airlines and airports saw a sharp increase in incidents such as biting and mauling by untrained animals. The DOT’s guidance is an important step toward addressing this growing problem and ensuring a safer and healthier travel experience for all.”

This vicious, reprehensible assault was evil, plain and simple. If the reports indicating that the suspect viciously beat a Hindu priest for walking in his neighborhood in Glen Oaks, Queens, that is the textbook definition of a hate crime, and the perpetrator should be charged as such. We cherish our Hindu community, and while all violence must be condemned, it is particularly galling to see a man of faith beaten within an inch of his life for looking different.

नेपाली साहित्यमा मनोवैज्ञानिक यथार्थवादी धाराका प्रवर्तक कोइरालाका डेढ दर्जन कृति प्रकाशित छन । ‘तीन घुम्ती’, ‘मोदी आइन’, ‘हिटलर र यहुदी’, ‘सुम्निमा’, ‘नरेन्द्रदाइ’, एवम् ‘बाबु, आमा र छोरा’ गरी ६ उपन्यास प्रकाशित छन् । त्यसैगरी दुई कथा सङ्ग्रह ‘श्वेत भैरवी’ र ‘दोषी चस्मा’का साथै हरिप्रसाद शर्माको सम्पादनमा ‘विश्वेश्वरप्रसाद कोइरालाका कथा र कविता’ पनि प्रकाशित छन् ।

होन्डुरसबाट ग्वाटेमाला प्रवेश गर्नेगरी मध्य अमेरिकी मुलुकहरु हैटी र गिनीबाट संयुक्तराज्य अमेरिकातर्फ हिँडेका २४ जना अवैध आप्रवासीलाई ग्वाटेमाला प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ । बसमा यात्रा गरेको छ जना महिना र एक जना बच्चा पक्राउ परेकामध्ये २० जना हैटीका र चार जना गिनीका रहेका छन् ।
