अमेरिकाको गैर आप्रवासी भिसा कागजपत्रमा आधारित नभई अन्तरवार्तामा आधारित रहेकाले भिसा आवेदकसँग भिसा अधिकारीको पहिलो जम्काभेट अन्तरवार्ताकै क्रममा हुने र त्यो भन्दा अगाडि आवेदन पुनरावलोकन नगरिने भिसा च्याटमा जनाइएको छ । काठमाडौंमा रहेको अमेरिकी दूतावासले भिसाका लागि आवेदन दिएकामध्ये कस्लाई भिसा दिने वा नदिने भन्ने पहिले नै तय हुने र अन्तरवार्ता केवल औपचारिकतामात्र रहेको आरोप लागिरहँदा अमेरिकी दूतावास काठमाडौंले त्यस्तो आरोप अस्वीकार गरेको छ । कन्सुलर अधिकारीका तर्फबाट गरिएको भनिएको पछिल्लो भिसा च्याटका क्रममा कस्लाई भिसा दिने वा नदिने भन्ने कुराको निर्धारण अन्तरवार्तामा नै हुने स्पष्ट पारिएको छ ।

दिपक न्यौपाने, काठमाडौ ः नेपाली समाजमा हिन्दु बाहुल्यता बढि छ , दुध आउन्जेल गाई गोठ बुढो भएपछि भीरको खोचमा फाल्ने पापीहरु बढ्दै छन् । नेपालमा गाईको मासुखान प्रतिबन्ध भएकोले गाईको मासु खान नपाएको रीसको झोकमा सुर्खेत वीरेन्द्रनगर नगरपालिकाको कट्कुवा जंगलमा २३ वटा गाई मारेर फालेका छन् । नेपालीहरु गाईलाई लक्ष्मीको प्रतिक मान्ने गर्दछन् । तर आज भोली अलिक मानसिक पाप कर्म बढदै गाई लाई कुदृष्टी बाट हेर्न थालेका छन् । कोही पशु हिश्र्रकहरुले र दिन प्रतिदिन गौ हत्या बढिरेहो बेला एउटा गाईलाई दुध अउन्जेल दुध खाने तर दुध आउन छाडेपछि गाई लाई बि बाटो मा कि भीरमा खसाल्ने पाप कर्मले गौहत्या बढिरहेको छ । दैलेखको शीरस्थानमा लैजाने क्रममा बिहीबार राति बीच बाटोमै ट्रकबाट खसालिएको बताइएपनि घटनाक्रम भने अर्कै रहेको खुलेको छ ।

किसानले दुहुञ्जेल गोठमा राख्ने र थाकेपछि सडकमा छाड्ने प्रवृत्ति बढेको देखिएको छ। यस्ता गाईले सडक कब्जा गरेका छन्। रूपन्देहीको तिलोत्तमा र देवदहमा ससाना गौशालाबाहेक छाडा पशु राख्ने स्थान छैन। ती स्थानमा पनि दुई–अढाई सय पशु मात्रै अटाएका छन्। तिलोत्तमामा रहेको गौशालामा राखिएका गाई, गोरु केही महिनाअघि मरेपछि विरोधसमेत भएको थियो।

12-year-old tourist from St. Petersburg, Russia, who was injured in a hotel pool in the Turkish city of Bodrum has died in hospital, the girl’s father said on Wednesday.

The Russian girl, aged 12, was sucked into an underwater pump in a pool on August 18. She was urgently hospitalized in critical condition. St. Petersburg physicians arrived in Turkey to provide aid to the child. A criminal case was launched based on the accident.
The consulate general will provide all the necessary help in the repatriation of the girl’s body. The Russian side will also “continue to closely monitor the process of the investigation by Turkey’s law enforcement bodies into the tragic incident,” the embassy concluded.

The Russian Embassy in Turkey also reported the girl’s death. “The Russian embassy and the consulate general in Antalya regret to inform that today, on August 28, despite the efforts taken by the medical staff of the Pamukkale University Hospital, Russian Alisa Adamova died after being hospitalized in critical condition following an accident which occurred on August 18 at the Sunhill hotel in Bodrum,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
