Naked man attempts to board plane in Moscow airport

Moscow : A man was filmed trying to board a plane to Crimea in a Moscow airport after stripping in public. Footage from the scene shows the man getting in line stark naked. Covering his private parts, he calmly waited for his turn as others passed through the final check. It was not clear what the man had in mind, but he crossed himself several times as the line moved forward. He stood in the line for the ticket check fully nude, before bewildered police detained him. At first, it seemed like a typical Saturday at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport. Passengers were lining up near the jet bridge to board a plane for the city of Simferopol in Crimea. During the entire process, the naked man acted as if nothing were amiss. Other passengers didn’t pay much attention to him either, apart from giggling. According to one witness, the man explained his stunt by saying that “clothes make body aerodynamics worse” so “it’s easier to fly” nude.

The man was later detained by police and is set to be examined for his mental condition. The airline, whose aircraft he attempted to board, told local media that the individual undressed in public and ran past its staff. “He failed to reach the plane,” the company’s spokesperson said. Not a lot is known about his identity, except that police say he is 38 years old and was born in Siberia.

Won Pat International Airport (GUM). Pending completion of an aviation agreement between the U.S. and Japanese governments later this year, and slots awarded by DOT, the flights are expected to begin service by the summer of 2020.

United has presented a proposal maximized to meet consumer demand and benefit U.S. travelers. Together, the flights from five U.S. mainland hub cities and Guam will connect Tokyo Haneda with 112 U.S. airports, representing approximately two thirds of U.S.-Tokyo demand, or more than three million annual Tokyo bookings. With United’s proposed routes representing five of the six largest metropolitan areas in the U.S. mainland and a combined population of nearly 56 million, the new flights requested in this proceeding will provide consumers with more choices and more convenient options when selecting Tokyo Haneda for their travel plans. “Tokyo is a hub of 21st century global commerce and innovation and one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. United’s application will also support American businesses and help grow the U.S. economy by offering direct flights from key business, government and cultural hubs where demand for flights to Haneda, the closest airport to central Tokyo, is the highest. With these new flights in place, United would provide Haneda service from:

United’s proposal would help realize the full potential of these new routes for U.S. consumers and businesses by expanding United’s broad-based and end-to-end network between the United States and Japan. United’s proposed flights to Haneda would allow U.S. consumers to make connections to 37 points in Japan via United’s joint venture partner All Nippon Airways (ANA), strengthening United’s existing comprehensive network when combined with nonstop or single-connection service from 112 U.S. airports. United has proven its long-term commitment to Tokyo as a key gateway in Asia, serving Tokyo from 100 percent of its U.S. hubs. Air Partner delivering humanitarian

Air Partner’s Freight team has been extremely busy in 2018, delivering relief goods and humanitarian aid to those in need across the globe. Missions included flights between Europe and Libya, Yemen, Central Africa, as well as between various African countries and from the US to the Mariana Islands in the Pacific. A large bulk of this activity took place during this year’s typhoon season and in response to Typhoons Mangkhut and Yutu, for which Air Partner coordinated the transport and delivery of more than 2000 tons of relief cargo from the US to Guam and Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands.

In September, Air Partner was contacted by Radiant Global Logistics to assist with the safe and speedy delivery of supplies to Guam in preparation for Super Typhoon Mangkhut. Air Partner carried out a number of flights on AN-225 and AN-124 aircraft to help move urgent relief supplies, including water and meals ready-to-eat (MRE).

Wiley Knight, director of Humanitarian Aid for Radiant Global Logistics, commented: “Through the support and quality of service that Air Partner provides, we were able to successfully complete these projects within 24 hrs after the storm passed. Our partnership and the absolutely essential understanding of rapid response is exactly what we needed to fulfil our missions.”

The following month, in the wake of Super Typhoon Yutu, Air Partner was tasked with delivering a wide array of aid supplies and heavy-duty equipment to rebuild the island of Saipan. The team mobilized quickly and successfully completed more than 30 flights in less than 30 days using AN124 and B747F aircraft.  Flying cargo to this remote location was particularly challenging, and due to the size of the relief effort plus the volume of flying conducted, Air Partner stationed a member of its team on the island of Guam to personally co-ordinate the organisation, delivery and upload of all cargo from the appointed freight forwarder of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in a timely manner, without delay. This enabled Air Partner to deliver the most efficient cargo charter service to its client at this critical time.

Mike Hill, Director of Freight at Air Partner, said: “In times of crisis, we are the trusted partner for a wide range of clients. During a year of such devastating natural disasters, my thanks goes to the Freight team for their tireless efforts to get much-needed aid to those desperately in need, as quickly as possible.”

Thailand takes a giant leap closer to becoming ASEAN’s

A recently approved $45 billion investment in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) is set to solidify the country’s position as ASEAN’s regional aerospace hub. “As one of the most visited countries in the world year after year, Thailand is ready to embrace its future as the most significant aerospace hub in the ASEAN region,” says Mr. Chokedee Kaewsang, Deputy Secretary General of Thailand Board of Investment. “The passing of the EEC bill is an exciting development, and we look forward to our country’s aerospace sector continuing its meteoric growth in the coming years.”

The Eastern Economic Corridor bill will earmark these funds for the general development of the region, including, most notably, U-Tapao’s future Aeropolis – an entire city infrastructure built around said airport – and will likely help Thailand surpass the USD $9.3 billion of foreign investment the country drew in 2017 for the EEC. The earmarked funds will also cover the construction of a motorway, deep sea ports, a high-speed railway linking the country’s three major airports (Suvarnabhumi, U-Tapao, and Don Mueang), and other infrastructural developments.
