अमेरिकाको एउटा प्रमुख टेलिभिजन नेटवर्क सीबीएसका एक जना प्रमुख कार्यकारीमाथि यौन दुव्र्यवहार गरेको आरोप लागेको छ । आफ्नो संस्थाका प्रमुख कार्यकारीमाथि लगाइएको आरोपबारे आफूहरूले अनुसन्धान गर्ने उनीहरुले बताएका हुन् । प्रमुख कार्यकारी लेजमुन्भेसले यौन दुव्र्यवहार गरेको ६ जना महिलाले बताएपछि उनको संस्थाका निर्देशकहरुले छानबिन गर्ने बताएका  छन् । भने त्यसैगरी अभिनेत्री इलियाना डग्लससहित चार जनाले पनि बैठकका दौरानमा आफूहरूलाई मुन्भेसले जबर्जस्ती छोएको अथवा चुम्बन गरेको आरोप लगाएका छन् । यद्यपि यौन दुव्र्यवहार गरेको आरोपको भने उनले खण्डन गरेका छन् ।गल्ती स्वीकार गर्दै आफ्नो कारणले केही महिलालाई असहज भएको हुन सक्ने ६८ वर्षीय मुन्भेसको भनाइ छ ।

गुल्मीमा एक जना सब–इञ्जिनियर घुस दिदा दिदै रंगेहात  पक्राउ परेका छन् ।सदरमुकाम तम्घासको बसपार्कमा डेरा गरी बस्दै आएका झाले निर्माण कार्यमा संग्लग्न व्यवसायीलाई ‘रनिङ्ग विल’ भुक्तानीका लागि एक लाख घुस मागी भुक्तानी दिन बोलाएका थिए । यही सूचनाका आधारमा वुटवलबाट गएको अख्तियारको टोलीले उनलाई समातेको हो ।

काठमाडौँ : नेपाल प्रहरी, केन्द्रीय अनुसन्धान ब्यूरोले को–अपरेटिभमा आकर्षक व्याज र उपहारको प्रलोभनमा पारी निक्षेपकर्ताबाट उक्त रकम हिनामिना गरी आफ्नो नाउँमा घर जग्गा खरिद गरी, निक्षेपकर्ताको साँवा व्याजसमेत फिर्ता नगरी  रु चार करोड १७ लाख ५८ हजार ठगेर फरार दुई अभियुक्तलाई पक्राउ गरी जेल चलान गरेको छ ।

ब्यूरोको टोलीले ताहचलमा रहेको साइनिङ स्टार सेभिङ एण्ड क्रेडिट को–अपरेटिभका लेखा समिति सदस्य रोशनकुमार खड्गी र प्रकृति श्रेष्ठलाई बिहिबार पक्राउ गरी आज केन्द्रीय कारागार जगन्नाथदेवल जेल चलान गरेको हो ।

काठमाडौं : काठमाडौंको बुढानिलकण्ठ–७, चपली हाइटमा ट्याक्सी चालकलाई लुट्ने ३ जना पक्राउ परेको छ ।  ट्याक्सीमा यात्रु बनेर चढेका उनीहरुले चपली हाइटमा पुगेपछि चक्कु देखाएर लुटपाट गरेका थिए । प्रहरीका अनुसार चालकको साथबाट उनीहरुले मोबाइल र नगद लुटपाट गरेर  भागेपछि  तत्कालै पक्राउ  गरेको जानकारि दिएको  छ । उनीहरुको साथबाट ५ हजार ६ सय रुपैयाँ नगदसहित ६ वटा मोबाइल, एउटा औंठी, खुकुरी, हाते बञ्चरो, चक्कु लगायतका सामाग्री बरामद भएको छ ।

Deepak Neupane, Kathmandu, China wants to develop tourist routes in the Arctic region, the Russian Federal Agency for Tourism said. Chinese tourists, it says, are attracted to the area by its unique natural environment and complex ecosystem.  “China does not have Arctic territories, and thus this kind of tourism is of special interest for China – both from the point of view of studies, and from the point of view of new impressions, of new tourism products,”

Despite being a non-Arctic state, China is increasingly active in the polar region. It became an observer member of the Arctic Council in 2013. Beijing announced plans in January to extend the ambitious Belt and Road Initiative to the Arctic by developing shipping routes. The Arctic route from Southeast Asia to Europe cuts transportation time in half compared to traditional routes through the Suez and Panama canals. The Arctic shipping routes are likely to “become important transport routes for international trade.” According to Beijing, it would encourage enterprises to build infrastructure and conduct commercial trial voyages, paving the way for Arctic shipping routes that would form a “Polar Silk Road.”

He added that Chinese tourism operators have visited the Arkhangelsk Region where they studied the local market to see how they could organize trips for Chinese travelers.  According to the Russian official, China has a clear understanding of what the Russian Arctic is like. “Chinese representatives told us they realize that the Arctic region has a complicated and unique ecology. They understand that organizing trips there would be in connection with keeping that unique natural region, and thus the Chinese are ready to implement tourism technologies, to settle issues of control over their tourists’ staying there,” he said. Land territories in the Arctic cover an area of around 8 million sq km, with sovereignty belonging to Russia, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Canada and the United States. The Arctic Ocean is more than 12 million sq km, where coastal and other countries share maritime rights and interests according to international law.

गोरखामा नियमीत रुपमा  मोवाइल पसलमा चोरी भएको प्रहरीलाई जानकारी आएपछि  प्रहरीले संलग्नहरुको खोजी गर्न सुरु गर्‍यो ।   त्यसपछि प्रहरीले उनीहरुको मोवाइल नम्बर ट्रेस गर्न शुरु गर्‍यो । ‘फलो गर्दै जादा उनीहरुको लोकेसन बारा देखायो भने  लगत्तै गाइघाटमा पनि मोवाइल पसल चोरी भयो भन्ने खबर आयो । त्यहाँको सीसीटीभी फुटेजमा हेर्दा चोरी गर्ने व्यक्ति एउटै भेटियो ।‘त्यसपछिथप अनुसन्धान गर्दै जादा सिमानाबाट उनीहरुलाई पक्राउ गर्न सफल भयौं’। मोवाइल चोरी गरेको आरोपमा दुई भारतीय नागरिक पक्राउ परेको छ ।

हिमालयन इभेन्ट तथा मितेरी ग्रुप अमेरिकाको प्रस्तुति रहेको ‘ढकाल सुमधुर साँझ’मा ढकालले अहिले सम्मका उत्कृष्ट गीतहरु प्रस्तुत गर्नेछन । उनको लाईभ एकल गायनमा न्युच्छे नारायण ढंगोल, शिशिर श्रेष्ठ, सुशील विश्वकर्मा, प्रमोद उपाध्याय, विष्णु सुनार र डेविड सुरावि ढकालले वाध्यबाधनको रुपमा सहयोग गर्ने छन् ।

२०४५ सालमा १४ बर्षको उमेरमै पहिलोपटक ‘ढकाल सुमधुर साँझ’ एकल कार्यक्रममा हिन्दी र नेपालीका २२ वटा गीत प्रस्तुत गरेर चर्चित बनेका ढकाल नेपालमा सानो उमेरमै एकल साँझ गर्ने पहिलो गायक पनि हुन । १० वटा एकल एल्बम सार्वजनिक गरिसकेका ढकालका दर्जनौ गीतहरु चर्चित छन ।

आयोजक समितीका अभय ढुंगेलले गायक ढकालका बर्षौ अगाडी रेडियो, टेलिभिजनमा सुनेका चर्चित गीतहरूलाई लाईभ म्युजिकका साथ आफ्नै अगाडी पारिवारिक बाताबरणमा रमाउँदै सांगितिक मज्जालिन सकिने बताए । गायक तथा आयोजक समितीमा अभय ढुंगेलले प्रवासमा रहेका नेपालीहरू जो नेपाली गीत सङ्गीत प्रति माया गर्नेहरुलाई एक उत्कृष्ट कार्यक्रम रहने र सहभागी हुनका लागी समेत अग्राह गरेका छन् ।

कार्यक्रम न्युयोर्क एभिन्यु वुडसाईड स्थित गुल्सन टेरेसमा शनिबार , जुलाई २८ मा ७ बजे देखी सुरुहुने छ ।

Yong Dae Kang, New York  : So many people raise their voices for democracy. Some of them also claim to be Christians. The world of Christianity is a kingdom, not a democracy. God is the creator of all and he came to this world as Jesus the king of kings. If you repent of your sinful nature and convert to the cause of Christ, you are a Christian, a servant of God.

Apostle Paul, a Christian, calls himself a slave of God and a servant of God, just about interchangeably. Christians claim Jesus as their Lord and savior. Jesus saved them from the way of the flesh and so they belong to him. Christians do not trust their own heart. Heart is flesh. From the heart comes the thoughts of envy, lies, slander, malice, murder. Heart keeps the rest of the flesh going. Brain is flesh and is useless unless the heart keeps pumping blood to the rest of the body.

The life of a Christian is a life of hardship and suffering. Jesus himself says to daily take up your own cross and follow after him. He means go get crucified each and everyday. Jesus is not some cosmic Santa Claus, a spiritual slot machine that rewards you with things of this world. Jesus says the world hated him enough to crucify him and that it would do the same to those who follow him. He says that there will be trials and tribulation but be of good courage for he has overcome the world.

He says do not return evil for evil. When a person does to you what they know how to from their own hearts, don’t return in kind. Jesus says overcome evil with good. Don’t do what your heart tells you to do, do what God tells you to do. Jesus says there is no one who is righteous in this world. God is the only good in this world.

Jesus says that either you’re with him or you’re against him. If you are not getting crucified yourself, you are putting the nail in somebody else’s cross. There is no middle ground. Jesus says the ones that endure till the end will be rewarded. What reward? Jesus says that unless you go through him you shall in no way see the kingdom of heaven.
