स्वदेशी औषधि उत्पादकले औषधि निर्माणका लागि धेरै कच्चा पदार्थ चीन हुँदै भारतबाट ल्याउने गर्छन् । कतिपयले युरोपबाट पनि कच्चा पदार्थ भित्याउने गरेका छन् ।’उत्पादकले सम्झौताअनुसार औषधि उपलब्ध गराउन सक्ने÷नसक्ने निक्र्योल सरकारले पहिल्यै गर्नुपर्छ । विदेशबाट आयात गर्नुपर्ने कच्चा पदार्थ उपलब्ध नभएको कारण देखाउँदै स्वदेशी औषधि उत्पादक कम्पनी सरकारसँगको सम्झौताअनुसार औषधि आपूर्ति गर्न नसक्ने अवस्थामा पुगेका छन् । औषधि उत्पादक कम्पनीको यो कमजोरीका कारण सरकारी स्वास्थ्य संस्था प्रभावित हुने जोखिम बढेको छ । सरकारले जनतालाई निःशुल्क वितरण गरिरहेका ती औषधि समयमै उपलब्ध नहुँदा सर्वसाधारण मारमा पर्न सक्ने भन्दै सरकारी अधिकारीले चिन्ता व्यक्त गरेका छन् । ‘गुणस्तरीयता सुनिश्चित गर्न नेपालको प्रयोगशालाको गुणस्तरीयता मापन प्रविधि राम्रो नभएकाले हामीले विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठनको जीएमपी कच्चा पदार्थ चाहियो भन्यौं र उहाँहरूले त्यो उपलब्ध गराउने सम्झौता गर्नुभएको थियो तर समयमै औषधि उपलब्ध गराउन सक्नुभएन’,’त्यसका कारण औषधि अभाव हुने जोखिम छ ।’

The USA is joining Syria and Nicaragua and decided it was unnecessary to stand behind the rest of the world in joining hands to be good custodian and support the human right of travel. The world tonight in our Aloha State of Hawaii is not the same beautiful world it was when the sun came up over our blue Pacific Ocean this morning. The world is not the same for the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres’s today, and certainly the world is not the same for the global travel and tourism industry tonight.
A study by the Hawaii Tourism Authority in 2014 confirmed the biggest threat our islands, the Islands of Hawaii face because of climate change: Higher average temperatures, stressing native animals and plants and causing an uptick in heat-related illnesses in people (think dengue fever or cholera), as well as a higher concentration of invasive species; A decrease in trade winds, which would disrupt the rainfall patterns across each of the islands and create periods of drought and heavy rain and flooding; Warmer oceans and higher ocean acidity, which could trigger massive coral bleaching, marine migration, and affect the ocean’s circulation and the way it distributes nutrients.

A poll conducted for the 2017 U.S. News Best Countries Rankings found that more than 70 percent of a survey respondents lost respect for U.S. leadership. The world today is stunned by this man. News from Moscow however is indicating some sympathy and perhaps President Putin sees an opportunity for Russia with the US decision to leave the Paris Climate Agreement. Fijian Prime Minister and incoming COP23 president Frank Bainimarama has expressed his disappointment in President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris Agreement on climate change. This disappointment was echoed by heads of States from almost every country in the world.
Fiji is one out of many leaders today from every continent on the globe condemning the decision of the United States to abandoning the requirement for every decent human citizen to be a responsible custodian of this earth. Small island nations like those in the South Pacific are on the frontline of climate change, susceptible to more frequent extreme weather events like cyclones, and in danger of being swamped by rising sea levels as polar ice caps melt
२०७४ जेष्ठ १९ : मन्त्रिपरिषदले बुधवार पारित गरेको ‘स्थानीय तहको सेवा सञ्चालन तथा व्यवस्थापन सम्बन्धी आदेश’ ले गाउपालिका, नगरपालिका, महानगर/उपमहानगरलाई आफूखुशी पैसा बाँड्न रोकेको छ । स्थानीय तहका निर्वाचित पदाधिकारीले भटाभट सामाजिक सुरक्षा भत्ता बढाउने निर्णय गर्न थालेपछि सरकारले त्यसमा नियन्त्रण गरेको छ । कार्यविधि र मापदण्ड नबनुन्जेल बृद्ध भत्तालगायत सामाजिक सुरक्षासम्बन्धी कुनै निर्णय नगर्न सरकारले स्थानीय तहका जनप्रतिनिधिलाई लगाम लगाएको हो । ‘केही स्थानीय तहबाट आफूखुशी सामाजिक सुरक्षा भत्ता बाँडिएको र सरकार ले स्वीकृत गरेको आदेश अनुसार त्यसरी पैसा बाँड्नु कानुनविपरित हो’ स्थानीय विकास मन्त्रालयले अनियन्त्रित ढंगले पैसा बाँड्ने कार्य रोक्न निर्देशन दिने निर्णय गरेको हो ।
KATHMANDU: According to FIFA, Nepal moved four places up to 169th in the FIFA ranking release today by the world football governing body. Nepal were ranked 173 position on May FIFA ranking. India tops the ranking among South Asian Countries as it remained static on 100th position with 331 points. Similarly, Maldives have slipped four spot down to 156th position and Bhutan slipped two spot down to 166th position in the FIFA rankings. Meanwhile, Banglandesh have jumped five spot to 192nd position and Pakistan by one spot to 200th position. Nepal have improved its latest FIFA ranking with 116 points, four positons up from the last position. Likewise, Bangladesh have remained static on 197th position in the FIFA rankings published today.
काठमाडौं:मन्त्रिपरिषद्को बुधबारको बैठकले विराटनगर र वीरगन्ज उपमहानगरलाई महानगरमा स्तरोन्नति गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। सरकारले विराटनगर र वीरगन्जलाई महानगरपालिका बनाउने निर्णय गरेको हो। सरकारले यसअघि तराई-मधेसमा २२ स्थानीय तह थप्नुका साथै विराटनगर र वीरगन्ज महानगर र २४ गाउँपालिकालाई नगरपालिकामा स्तरोन्नति गरेको थियो। यी दुई उपमहानगरलाई महानगर बनाउँदा यसअघि कायम रहेको सीमा र वडा संख्यालाई नचलाउने गरी निर्णय गरिएको छ।
