People are running away from the iconic Gare de Lyon train station in Paris . The building is on fire. Thick smoke and emergency evacuation is in progress. Sources say the fire is related to a protest in the area, but the cause is not confirmed.

It’s not clear if anyone is hurt. Many tourists are also traveling from Gare de Lyon. A year ago Notre Dame was destroyed by a fire in Paris.
