गत चैतदेखि नियमित विद्युत् उत्पादन शुरु गरेको सो आयोजनाको सोमबार औपचारिकरूपमा उद्घाटन गर्ने कार्यक्रम तय गरिएको छ । माथिल्लो त्रिशूली थ्री ‘ए’ उद्घाटन हुँदै छ ।
रुग्ण बनेका आयोजना सफल बनाउन तृत्वदेखि कर्मचारीको समेत सकारात्मक प्रयासले काम गर्छ । सिँचाइमन्त्री वर्षमान पुन आयोजनास्थल नुवाकोटको किस्पाङ गाउँपालिका–५ सिम्लेमा उपस्थित भएर आयोजनाको उद्घाटन गर्न लागिएको प्राधिकरणले जनाएको छ ।
माथिल्लो त्रिशूली थ्री ‘ए’ को दोस्रो युनिटले पनि गत साउन १५ गतेदेखि परीक्षण उत्पादन गरेको थियो । लामो प्रयासपछि प्राप्त भएको सफलता नेपाल विद्युत् प्राधिकरणका कार्यकारी निर्देशक कुलमान घिसिङका अनुसार प्रसारण लाइन निर्माणको सबैभन्दा जटिलता भनेकै हरेक टावर एउटा आयोजना जस्तै कठिन बन्नु र बनाइनु नै हो ।

लामो प्रयासपछि आयोजना सफल भएका कारण लामो प्रयासपछि आयोजना सफल भएका कारण भूकम्प र पहिरोले काबुबाहिरको परिस्थिति उत्पन्न भएपछि प्राधिकरणले आयोजनाको म्याद गत असार मसान्तसम्म थप गरेको थियो ।

MADRID, SPAIN – The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has-published the first systematic overview of how both national governments and local authorities are addressing and managing new business models in the accommodation industry. The so-called “sharing economy” has experienced significant growth over recent years and is poised to outpace the growth of traditional accommodation. Drawing on case studies from around the world, “New Business Models in the Accommodation Industry” analyses existing rules and regulations for the sector. Drawing on 21 global case studies, the new UNWTO report notes that most of the measures implemented refer to areas of ‘fair competition’ and ‘consumer protection’, specifically measures related to taxation and registration and permits In comparison, measures relating to ‘planning and sustainability’, are less commonplace. At the same time, the report highlights the challenges destinations face in implementing rules and regulations, with a lack of local capacity and a lack of clarity over whose responsibility it is to monitor and regulate short-term tourist accommodation.

Commenting, UNWTO Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili said: “There are significantly more regulations than we thought and it is encouraging to see destinations taking the initiative. However, many challenges remain, including the practical implementation of rules and regulations relating to the short-term tourist rental market. Good governance and effective cooperation between the public and private sectors are key to successfully meeting these challenges.”

Case studies analysed for the “New Business Models in the Accommodation Industry” include European countries such as the Netherlands, Italy and Spain, which are home to some of the world’s most popular cities for tourists, as well as countries in the Americas such as Mexico and from across Asia as is the case of Japan. The report was produced with the support of the Secretariat of Tourism of Mexico.

प्रधानमन्त्री केपी शर्मा ओलीले परराष्ट्र मन्त्रालयलाई समस्या समाधानका लागि कूटनीतिक वार्ता गर्न निर्देशन दिए लगत्तै त्यसको पहल भएको छ। कालापानी र सुस्ताबाहेक अन्य क्षेत्रमा दसगजा खाली गर्ने, सीमास्तम्भ राख्ने र मर्मत गर्ने काम भइरहेका छन्।
भारतले आफ्नो नयाँ नक्सामा कालापानी क्षेत्रसमेत पारेपछि यो विषय पुनः बहसमा आएको छ।
चीनसँगको सीमा विवादमा छलफल गर्न राजनीतिक तहमा वार्ता गर्न लागेको छ। भारतीय प्रधानमन्त्री नरेन्द्र मोदीका सुरक्षा सल्लाकार र चीनका तर्फबाट विदेश राज्यमन्त्रीले वार्ताको पहल गरेका हुन्। विदेशमन्त्रीस्तरीय संयुक्त आयोगको तेस्रो बैठकले सीमाबारे कूटनीतिक वार्ता समाधान खोज्न विज्ञको सुझाव दिएको ठिक समयर र मौका हेरेर सहज सुझाव दिएका छन ।

धादिङ,२९ कात्तिक : स्कुटर चोरी गर्ने तथा चोरीका स्कुटर किन्ने चार जना पक्राउ धादिङ प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरि सार्वजनिक गरेको छ । महानगरपालिका-१२ बस्ने रोहन महर्जन, काठमाडौं महानगरपालिका-१२ टेकु बस्ने जुम्ला आचार्यबाडाका २१ वर्षीय रमेश शाही, काठमाडौं महानगरपालिका-१४ खसीबजार बस्ने सबिन शाक्य र धादिङ धुनिबेशी नगरपालिका-५ पुरन्डी बस्ने ४० वर्षीय कुमार रेग्मी रहेका छन् ।
उनीहरुको साथमा रहेका बा. ६७ प ५८८९ र बा.५५ प २०८४ नम्बरका स्कुटरहरु चोरी गरी ल्याएको खुल्न आएको छ । धादिङको धुनिबेशी नगरपालिका-५ बाट बिहीबार उनिहरु पक्राउ परेका हुन् ।  पक्राउ परेका सबैलाई शुक्रबार जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय धादिङमा पत्रकार सम्मेलन मार्फत प्रहरीले सार्वजनिक गरेको हो ।  उनीहरु उपर चोरी मुद्दामा थप अनुसन्धान भईरहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय धादिङले जनाएको छ ।

AI Chief Technology Officer, Grazia Vittadini, said that European aerospace giant is currently working on a single-pilot aircraft model to meet rising air travel demand. Demand for air travel doubles every 15-20 years, which results in more noise, emissions, fuel consumption and a higher requirement for pilots. The single pilot model is being developed with the help of automation technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI).

“While the human component will continue to be accountable for strategic decisions, AI will take care of the routine tasks, taking away workload from the pilot so that his/her attention is focused. There will be AI apps for aiding activities, such as image recognition of runways or signs at the airport and conversion of speech to text, as communication plays a significant part of the pilot’s workload,” Vittadini said.

Airbus will start testing the single-pilot model with freighter aircraft and expects this to become a reality over the next decade or so. Vittadini said issues regarding passenger safety will be enhanced with these new technologies.
Airbus’s move to do away with two pilots comes on a day when Boeing announced that it has scaled back the use of automation to make fuselage sections for its 777 jetliners amid reports of reliability issues, and returned to having human mechanics do some of the work.

Airbus, which spends about €2 billion annually in research and development (R&D), is also working on a complex hybrid-electric aircraft demonstrator, E-Fan X. In the test aircraft, one of the four jet engines will be replaced by a two megawatt electric motor, which is roughly equivalent to the power of 10 medium-sized cars. The electric propulsion unit is powered by a power-generation system and battery.

महेन्द्रनगर १ मंसीर सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेश सरकार, उधोग पर्यटन वन तथा वातावरण मन्त्रालयले नेपाल आईडियल सिजन २ का बिजेता रवी वडलाई सुदूरपश्चिमको पर्यटनदुतमा नियुक्त गरेको छ । कन्चनपुरको महेन्द्रनगरमा आयोजित सप्तरंग २ कार्यक्रममा उद्योग पर्यटन वन तथा वातावरण मन्त्री माया भट्टले रबी ओड लाइ प्रदेशको पर्यटन दुतका रूपमा नियुक्त गरेको घोषणा गर्दै प्रमाणपत्र दिनुभएको हो । कार्यक्रमका प्रमुख अतिथि मन्त्री भट्टले भिजिट नेपाल २०२० लाई सफल बनाउने उद्वेश्यले आईडियल वडलाई सुदुरपश्चिम प्रदेशको पर्यटनदुतमा नियुक्त गरेको वताउनु भएको छ । सरकारले सन् २०२० मा २० लाख पर्यटकलाई भित्र्याउने लक्ष्य सहित ‘भिजिट नेपाल २०२०’ घोषणा गरी तिब्र रुपमा प्रचारात्मक कार्य अघि बढाइरहेको बेला सुदूरपश्चिम सरकारले वडलाई पर्यटनदूतको रुपमा नियुक्त गरेको हो । आफ्नो कलाकारिताका माध्यमवाट देश विदेशमा सुदूरपश्चिम को पर्यटकीय क्षेत्र, संस्कृति, रहन सहन तथा स्थानीय उत्पादन हरुको प्रचार प्रसार मा सहयोग पुग्ने उद्वेश्यले उहाँलाई पर्यटन दुतमा नियुक्त गरिएको मन्त्री भट्टले बताउनुभयो । सुदुरपश्चिम प्रदेश सरकारले पर्यटन वर्ष २०२० लाई सफल बनाउन यसअघिनै प्रदेश स्तरिय समिति बनाएर कार्य अघि बढाएको छ ।

१ मंसिर, कामाडौं : प्रधानमन्त्री केपी शर्मा ओलीले एक इन्च नेपाली भूमि पनि मिच्न नदिने भन्दै भारतलाई कालापानीबाट सेना फिर्ता लैजाऊ आग्रह गरेका छन् । नयाँ नक्सा छाप्न सुझाव दिएको ‘नक्सा सच्याउनुभन्दा अगाडि अतिक्रमित भूमि फिर्ता लिन चाहन्छौं । हालसालै भारतले जारी गरेको राजनीतिक नक्साबारे प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीले सार्वजनिक मञ्चबाट पहिलो पटक बोलेका हुन् ।
प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीले भने दशकौं अघि अतिक्रमित भूमि भारतीय नक्साको नेपालमा सबैले विरोध गरेका छन् । पछिल्ला दिनहरुमा विपक्षी दलका नेताहरुले प्रधानमन्त्री किन मौन भन्ने प्रश्न गरेका थिए । प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीले नेपालको कुरा अहिले अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मञ्चहरुमा सुनिन थालेको भन्दै राष्ट्रियताको पक्षमा सरकार दृढ उभिएकै कारण नेपालको गरिमा बढेको बताए ।

‘नेपालको गरिमा बढेको छ । महत्वपूर्ण शक्ति रास्ट्र प्रमुखको भ्रमण लगातार भइरहेको छ’ प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीले भनेका छन्, ‘अहिले नेपालको कुरा सुनिन थालेको छ ।’ विषयलाई लिएर अहिले भर्खरै सीमा मिचिएको जस्तो गरेर प्रचार भइरहेको भन्दै असन्तुष्टि समेत जनाए ।

बर्दियाको गुलरियाबाट प्रहरीले ५८ किलाे लागूऔषध चरेससहित ५ जनालाई पक्राउ गरेको छ । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका अनुसार भन्सार राेडमा चेकजाँचका क्रममा उनीहरूबाट चरेस बरामद भएकाे जनाएकाे छ । भागेका दुई जनाकाे खाेजीका लागि बर्दियाकाे सम्पूर्ण नाकामा चेकजाँच कडा पारिएकाे छ भने जिल्ला प्रवेश गर्ने र बाहिरिने सवारीसाधनकाे समेत चेकजाँच कडा पारिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले जनाएकाे छ । पक्राउ पर्नेमा दाङ घाेराहीका ३४ वर्षीया राजकुमार पुन मगर, २७ वर्षीया जुनतारा पुन, ३४ वर्षीया सुनथामी बुढामगर, २९ वर्षीया खिमप्रसाद राेक्का मगर र रूकुम उतरगंगा निवासी २६ वर्षीया अस्मिता रामजाली रहेका छन् ।

पहिलो ओभरको दोस्रो बलमा नै कप्तान ज्ञानेन्द्र मल्ल शून्य रनमा आउट भए । तेस्रो ओभरको पहिलो बलमा अर्का ओपनर कुशल भुर्तेल १ रनमा आउट  हुँदा नेपालको स्कोर ३ रन मात्रै थियो ।
पहिलो खेलमा भारतसँग हार व्यहारेपछि नेपाललाई समूह चरण पार गर्न यो खेल जित्नै पर्ने दबाब थियो । तर आजै भएको अर्को खेलमा बंगलादेशले भारतलाई ६ विकेटले पराजित गरेपछि समूह चरण पार गर्ने यात्रा कठिन देखिएको छ । हङकङका लागि ऐजाज खानले ३ विकेट तथा नस्रुल्ला राना र इशान खानले २/२ विकेट लिए । नेपालका लागि करण केसी र अबिनाश बोहराले ३/३ विकेट लिए । ९ ओभर बलिङ गरेका अबिनाशले २ मेडन राख्दै मात्र ३२ रन खर्चिए भने करणले पनि १ मेडन राखे। यसैगरी सुशन भारीले २ विकेट हात पारे ।
