Katti Batti actors Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut were to judge a kissing contest as part of the promotional campaign for the film. But the idea has been turned down by the police, reports Mid-day.com. As per the plan, the actors were to choose from among 50 couples during a kissing contest in a Mumbai college, but the authorities were denied permission by the police for the same. Not only this, when the Katti Batti promoters decided to push the event to Bandra Bandstand, the police again denied the permission, the report stated.

Hong Kong Airlines, an internationally-acclaimed Skytrax 4-star airline, and Air Mauritius, the flag carrier of Mauritius and also a Skytrax 4-star airline, entered a codeshare agreement today to provide travellers with enhanced connections to Mauritius. Under the codeshare, Hong Kong Airlines will place its “HX” code on Air Mauritius’ twice-weekly direct flights between Hong Kong and Mauritius.

“Mauritius has a trove of natural history. We are happy that our passengers will have a new exciting travel option to this beautiful land.” Mr. Li added. Mr. Li Dianchun, Commercial Director of Hong Kong Airlines, said: “We are extremely delighted to partner with Air Mauritius. This agreement enables us to maximize the travel opportunities offered to passengers as our network further expands across continents to the Indian Ocean.”

“The development of Asian routes is key to our network strategy.  We trust that both airlines will fully benefit from the new prospects offered by this collaboration. We will continue to work together and explore other avenues for strengthening this cooperation.” stated the Air Mauritius Chairman, Dr Arjoon Suddhoo.

Tickets under the codeshare agreement for travel period from today onwards can be purchased via travel agents or through the airlines’ sales offices and call centers.
