काठमाडौं। नेपाली उद्योगहरुले धागोमा किर्तिमानी निर्यात व्यापार गरेका छन् । भारत, टर्की, भियतनाम लगायतका मुलुकबाट धागोको माग बढेपछि स्वदेशी उद्योगको निर्यातमा वृद्धि भएको छ । कोरोना महामारीमा समेत बन्द नभएको धागो उद्योगहरुले अहिले थप देशहरुमा आफ्नो बजार खोज्ने प्रयास गरिरहेका छन्। त्यही प्रयासस्वरुप अहिले उद्योगीले जापानमा समेत नेपाली धागोको नमुना पठाइएको धागो उद्योगी पवन गोल्याणले जानकारी दिए।  भियतनाममा नेपाली धागोका लागि बजारको ढोका खुलेसँगै यसबाट रिलायन्स, त्रिवेणी र जगदम्बा स्पिनिङ मिल्स लगायतका स्वदेशी धागो उद्योगलाई प्रत्यक्ष फाइदा मिल्ने देखिएको छ।

नेपालबाट हुने सबैभन्दा ठूलो निर्यात हिस्सा भारतको छ । चालु आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो पाँच महिनामा भारतमा मुख्य (सर्वाधिक रकमको) निर्यात भएका वस्तुहरुमध्ये पाँचौंमा धागो परेको छ । यो पाँच महिनामा नेपाली उद्योगहरुले भारतमा मात्र एक अर्ब २३ करोड २० लाख रुपैयाँको धागो निर्यात गरेका छन्  । नेपालबाट भारतमा ७३ लाख २७ हजार केजीबराबर पोलिष्टर धागो निर्यात भएको हो ।  यसअघि कुनैपनि आर्थिक वर्षमा नेपालबाट यो परिमाणको धागो निर्यात हुन सकेको थिएन । चालु वर्षको पाँच महिनामा टर्कीमा समेत २९ करोड ६७ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरको धागो निर्यात भएको छ। यस्तै चालु आवबाटै नेपाली धागोले प्रवेश गरेको नयाँ अन्तरराष्ट्रिय बजार भियतनामा समेत नेपाली धागो निर्यातले गति लिन थालेको छ। नेपालबाट चालु वर्षको पाँच महिनामै करिब २३ हजार केजी धागो भियतनाम निर्यात भइसकेको छ। यो निर्यातको मूल्य ९१ करोड ५८ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबर हो।

Today the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a final rule to facilitate the safe development of civil supersonic aircraft. The rule streamlines and clarifies procedures to obtain FAA approval for supersonic flight testing in the United States. “Today’s action is a significant step toward reintroducing civil supersonic flight and demonstrates the Department’s commitment to safe innovation,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao. This rule will help ensure that companies developing these aircraft clearly understand the process for gaining FAA approval to conduct flight testing, which is a key step in ultimately bringing their products to market.

काठमाडौं ,२० पुस : त्रिभुवन अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थलबाट चेकजाँचको क्रममा  ५० थान गोलीसहित एक जना प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ ।प्रहरीका अनुसार राई श्री एयरलाइन्सको जहाजबाट भद्रपुर  जान लागेको उनीहरुलाई  जाँच गर्दा ९ एमएमको पेस्तोलको गोलीसहित नियन्त्रणमा लिइएको जानकार दिएको छ। यस घटनाको विस्तृत विवरण आउन बाँकी छ ।

The new year 2021 celebrations in Uganda were ushered in by an illuminated Source of the Nile Bridge in Uganda’s second city Jinja. Unlike previous celebrations, this year’s was a low key event with fireworks only permitted at the bridge due to the covid pandemic.

A stage was set up with entertainment provided by a bevy of musicians and deejays to live telecast on major television stations which was the only chance to witness the fireworks. Police strictly monitored the event blocking motorists from accessing the bridge in preparation for the fireworks. Patrols were kept busy all night trying to enforce the public from defying the 9:00 pm curfew although several bars remained opened with revelers partying till the wee hours while others who had lit bonfires played cat and mouse chase with police.

The midnight fireworks were dampened by a downpour, in a sense a blessing of hope for a good harvest or good fortune in the African traditional setting , what just the world needs in 2021. Opened in October 2018 by Uganda’s President H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the cable-stayed 525metre  Source of The Nile Bridge is the main artery to the busy Kenyan border that connects the export /import trade in the region to the East African port of Mombasa. It was built with a grant from the Japanese government, replacing the aging Nalubale Bridge that was commissioned together with the hydroelectric Owen Falls dam by England’s Queen Elizabeth II in 1954. Known as the adventure capital of East Africa for rafting,quad biking, horse riding, and bungee jumping,

Jinja is where the source of the river Nile begins its a 4000-mile journey to the Mediterranean.It is the longest river in the world traversing Uganda, South Sudan, Sudan and Egypt with several other tributaries and sources from river Kagera in Rwanda to the Blue Nile in the Abyssinian highlands in Ethiopia.

कालिकोटमा भारी वर्षासँगै  हिमपात भएको छ । लेकाली भेकहरुमा हिमपात र वर्षाले चिसो अत्याधिक रुपमा बढेको छ । चिसोका कारण स्थानीयबासी घर बाहिर निस्कन सकेका छैनन् ।  हिमपातले चिसो बढेसँगै जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालयले उच्च सतर्कता अपनाउन आग्रह गरेको छ । कर्णाली राजमार्गमा गुड्ने सवारी साधनहरु निकै कम छन् । वर्षेनि खडेरी पर्दा किसानहरुको उत्पादनमा ह्रास आइरहेका बेला यसवर्ष यसरी नियमित वर्षा र हिमपात भएपछि स्याउ उत्पादन वृद्धि हुने किसानको विश्वास छ । हिमपातले स्याउको गुणस्तर वृद्धि हुने, स्याउमा लाग्ने रोग किराहरुमा पनि कमी आउने हुन्छ।

सर्वोच्च अदालतले संसद विघटनबारे लिखित जवाफ पेस गर्न दिएको आदेशवमोजिम आइतबार उक्त कार्यालयले आ-आफ्नो लिखित जवाफ पेश गर्न लागेका हुन्। पुष १० गते सर्वोच्च अदालतको संवैधानिक इजलासले लिखित जवाफ पेस गर्न पुस १९ गतेसम्मको समयसीमा दिएको थियो। संसद विघटन असंवैधानिक भएको भन्दै परेको रिटमा राष्ट्रपति कार्यालय, प्रधानमन्त्री र सभामुखलाई समेत विपक्ष बनाएर सर्वोच्चमा रिट गरेको छ । प्रतिनिधिसभाका सभामुख अग्निप्रसाद सापकोटाले अहिलेको अवस्थामा प्रधानमन्त्रीलाई संसद् विघटन गर्ने अधिकार नभएको जवाफ सर्वोच्च अदालतमा पठाएका छन् । सापकोटाले अविश्वास प्रस्तावको दर्ता समयसमेत उल्लेख गरेर लिखित जवाफ पठाउनुभएको उनको सचिवालयले जनाएको छ । जवाफमा उनले आफू रिटको विपक्षमा नभएको समेत उल्लेख गरेका छन् ।

प्रधानन्यायाधीश चोलेन्द्रशमशेर जबरा नेतृत्वको संवैधानिक इजलासले सभामुख सापकोटासँग संघीय संसद् सचिवालयमा पार्टीका सांसदहरूको विवरण र प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीविरुद्ध नेकपा सांसदहरूले दर्ता गराएको अविश्वास प्रस्तावको समयसहितको कागजात पुस १९ गतेसम्म पेस गर्न आदेश दिएको थियो। अरू विपक्षीसँग पनि लिखित जवाफ मागिएको छ । सभामुख सापकोटाले आइतबार लिखित जवाफ पठाएका हुन् । ‘संसदबाट अर्को प्रधानमन्त्री बन्ने अवस्था रहँदारहँदै संसद् विघटन गर्न मिल्दैन’ उनको जवाफमा भनिएको छ, अहिलेको अवस्थामा प्रधानमन्त्रीलाई संसद् विघटन गर्ने अधिकार छैन् ।

काठमाडौं,१९ पुस : नक्कली पीसीआर रिपोर्ट बनाएर विदेश जान लागेका ७ जनालाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ । प्रहरीका अनुसार शनिबार साँझ दुबई जान लागेको उनीहरुलाई  जाँच गर्दा रिपोर्ट नक्कली पाइएपछि  प्रहरीले नियन्त्रणमा लिइएको जानकार दिएको छ। पक्राउ पर्नेमा सल्यानको खैरागरका दिनेश सिंहलगायत ७ जनालाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ ।

Aeromexico airline and pilots union, Asociación Sindical de Pilotos Aviadores de Mexico (ASPA) which represents Mexican pilots, are still at odds over current negotiations. Agreement is necessary in order for the airline to meet the commitments and objectives required by bankruptcy lenders allowing the company to access subsequent disbursements under the Senior Debtor in Possession Credit Facility (DIP Financing).

Aeromexico (Grupo Aeroméxico, S.A.B. de C.V.) must continue negotiations with ASPA in order to reach agreement during the 7-day grace period established at the Credit Agreement (Cure Period).

The airline announced that following its previous relevant event dated December 29, 2020, although significant progress has been made in the negotiations of the new Collective Bargaining Agreements, necessary adjustments to face the adverse effects caused to the airline industry due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, negotiations with all unions that have not yet concluded, pursuant to the milestones required by the lenders to access disbursements under the Senior Debtor in Possession Credit Facility (DIP Financing), obtained within its voluntary financial restructuring process under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code of the United States of America.

Negotiations with the Asociación Sindical de Sobrecargos de Aviación de México (ASSA) continue advancing in the best conditions. Therefore, the company expects to reach agreement during the aforementioned period, which will be reported in the following days.

The company recognizes the effort that the unions have made to contain the negative effects of the pandemic and will continue to work in a coordinated manner with its representatives in order to meet the necessary conditions to request the next disbursement under Tranche 2 of the DIP Financing.

Aeromexico will continue pursuing in an orderly manner the voluntary process of its financial restructuring under the Chapter 11 process, while continuing to operate and offer services to its customers and contracting from its suppliers the goods and services required for operations. The company will continue to use the advantages of the Chapter 11 proceeding to strengthen its financial position and liquidity, protect and preserve operations and assets, and implement the necessary adjustments to manage the impact of COVID-19.
