30 POLICE OFFICERS WERE TRAINED BY ACTIVIST IN THE USA

Deepak Neupane, kathmandu : Nepali activist Dr. Bishnu Maya Pariyar has given special training to 30 police officers in New Jersey. Bishnu Maya has been trained in domestic affairs and sexual assault to the special unit of Police in Hudson County of New Jersey.

In the training, the special prosecutor and other officials of the special unit including the assistant prosecutor of the police were involved. In collaboration with victims of domestic and sexual life, training has been made to provide additional information to police officers of the special unit. Dr. Bishnu Maya Pariyar is a renowned Nepalese social activist. Her renown is well-deserved because of her dedication to protecting women’s rights, domestic violence victims, and basic human rights, and because of her bravery in surmounting discrimination. She overcame many hurdles to receive her high level of education and her powerful position as both a social activist and an advocate for human and women’s rights Dr. Bishnu Maya Pariyar is a Jersey City Mayor’s diversity and exclusion advisor. Bishnu Maya was born in the poor family of Taklung, VDC of Gorkha, she is an active in social work through Adwan Nepal.
